Teachers Development Coordinator(TDC)
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and have gained practical experience through internships in various organizations. Alongside my social work background, I am also a theatre practitioner and have completed a course in ‘Theatre for Social Change, Conflict Transformation, and Peace Building’ from Mandala Drama School. I believe that combining social work and theatre can create a strong impact in the development sector, especially on social issues.
I believe change begins with the classroom. School represents the society, where all individuals are treated equally beyond their religion, race, sex, class, caste, or status. All the stakeholders are equally responsible for making the environment better. Drawing from my own experience as a student in a rural public school in Sindhupalchok and Kavre, I am aware of the unique challenges, including limited resources and opportunities. To bridge the gap, an innovative and practical teaching learning environment is necessary. Through this program, I am committed to supporting teachers and empowering students, ensuring access to and quality education for rural children.
